| Thank you so much for taking time to visit. I hope that you enjoy looking at my some of my work and will come back often. My interest in Primitive Folk Art started more than 15 years ago while I was in the U.S. Navy. My 22 years in the Navy has been my greatest honor and if I could do it all over again I would start today. | |||||||||||||||||

| I am 58 years old now and enjoying my retirement. I can't think of anything I would rather be doing right now than making primitive reproductions. I am so grateful to my wife for helping me pull all of this together! I spent many years doing shows in Virginia; where I ultimately opened a shop in a quaint little village in Williamsburg, Virginia. I loved being in that historical setting and meeting tourists from all over the world. There I fell in love with the work of 18th century craftsmen and I continue to try to reproduce items of that era and items of our historical past. I have been very fortunate to have met and known some of the finest craftsman of the trade. From them I have learned and still to this day am still learning even though it is primarily by telephone since moving back to Alabama. All of my items are made one at a time by me from start to finish. I do not mass produce, build an inventory, or have any assistance in production of my pieces. Each piece is made to order "especially for you" and personally signed by me when completed. I welcome your questions or suggestions and will work with you on special requests or any color changes. I enjoy doing special orders! Everyone has such wonderful ideas and I am always happy to bring your idea to light. Just send me an e-mail and I will respond. Thanks so much!!!! ~ Wayne Sims |
